Young striker Glatzel signs first professional contract with LFC
He's been heard of, no doubt, by many fans with an interest in the younger elements of the club but over the last few months the name Paul Glatzel has become more widely known after his goal-scoring feats continued on into the U23s.
The Liverpool-born 18 year old has German parents, so could play for either nation, and with his current scoring records, England might want to get a move on to ensure he chooses the country of his birth over his parents'.
But there's no concerns from LFC's perspective, as the young wonder-kid has today signed his first professional contract with the club.
Having scored 11 in 12 in the U18 Premier League this season, or 15 in all competitions, the young striker has committed his future to the Reds and after having stepped up to the U23s just recently, scoring on his debut, we can expect to see him being given a shot in the first-team squad over the next couple of seasons.
