Wolves boss on Jota: 'He's going to the right place'
It's rare these days that you find out and out class in football - aside from our own club, of course - but that's something that Nuno Espirito Santo embodies at Wolves.
The Wolves boss will no doubt be sad to see one of his star men leave, but has also snapped up a talented young defender from us in return and he's had his say on Jota's proposed move to Anfield this afternoon, wishing him well at the same time.
Speaking to the press ahead of his side's Premier League game on Monday night, he said: "First I want to apologise for Thursday - sometimes you have to keep things private.
"Diogo is amazing. What he did for us for three years was absolutely fantastic.
"Things happen when things should naturally happen. He is going to the right place."
The 23 year old Portugal international has yet to officially become a Liverpool player, but we'd be surprised if that wasn't announced by tonight, at the very latest.
