Van Dijk rallies his LFC troops ahead of run in
With just 7 games now remaining of the Premier League season, every match counts and every goal and point are crucial. And Virgil Van Dijk believes that it's important for him and his team mates to end the season with no regrets.
The Reds currently sit on top of the pile, 2 points clear of Man City who have thay crucial match in hand, but all the pressure is no on Guardiola's team, who are expected by most observers and pundits to complete a quadruple.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are punching well above their weight this season just by staying in touch with City by this stage of a long, arduous season.
But big Virg is keen for the players to leave it all out there come the end of May, as Liverpool fight on two massive fronts.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, he said: "It's definitely what I wanted.
"You hope to be in this kind of position - challenging for the Premier League title, being as far as we are in the Champions League now and reaching the final last season.
"I think the ultimate thing would be winning something with Liverpool and we still have any chance to win it. So let's just go for it.
"The most important thing is to enjoy it. We have to give it our all and make sure we have no regrets at the end of it."
