Update: Liverpool Saturday transfer news
The Women's World Cup (and now Copa America) aside, there isn't a lot to get football fans too excited at the moment, so winning the transfer window trophy takes centre stage.
Luckily for Reds there's a few updates today, albeit producing little to really get your teeth into. Regardless, have a read at LFC-related news below:
Starting off in Madrid, and Real are apparently prepared to let Isco leave this summer. Providing somebody is willing to pay a quite ridiculous £71.2 million. Considering they've already spent enough to buy a small island, Madrid need to meet FFP as well as anybody.
Liverpool have been linked with the Spanish play maker many times before and have been linked once or twice throughout the season. But it's doubtful we'd pay that much for him, if the claims from AS are to be believed.
Elsewhere, and perhaps more realistic for Liverpool, Ajax have named their price for Hakim Ziyech (according to De Telegraaf ). The Dutch-born Moroccan international has had a fantastic season at the Dutch club and they reportedly want a fee of £31 million.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with the hard-working wide player and he seems to be one of the most sensible (and reasonably priced) players on the market for us right now.
Finally, Sport Witness have today made the claims that Liverpool are keen on challenging Arsenal for the signature of Turkish midfield star Dorukhan Tokoz, currently at Besiktas.
The 23-year old has just come off the back of a solid season for the Turkish side but we're not entirely sure what he'd bring to our midfield that we don't already have.
