Thommo disappointed to see Rhian Brewster leave LFC
Of all of Liverpool incomings and outgoings this summer, Rhian Brewster was probably the least surprising.
The only thing is, most fans expected him to leave on another season-long long, preferably to a Premier League club, but few will argue that the deal we struck with Sheffield United wasn't heavily weighted in our favour.
For Phil Thompson though, the move was disappointing and he'd have liked to see Liverpool hold on to the youngster.
Speaking (unfortunately) to the Daily Mail, Thommo said: "On the outgoings, I’m disappointed that they decided to let Rhian Brewster go.
"I’d like him to have stayed. I can see some of the reasons why, but if you were asking me whether to go with Brewster or Divock Origi, for me, it’d be Origi going."
Let's be honest now, few fans would disagree with him there either, we'd defo be getting rid of Origi before Rhian but now the move has already gone ahead, we'll just have to watch and wait.
