Skriniar joins long list of centre backs Liverpool are linked to
Well, when I say 'joins', I mean 'his name has come up again', as Skriniar was a name mentioned a few years ago when we were first looking for a top class centre back.
The 25 year old, who if currently an Inter player, is highly regarded on the continent, and often partners former LFC centre back Martin Skrtel for the Slovakian national side.
Milan Skriniar has played over 130 times for Inter over the past three and a bit seasons, having joined from Sampdoria in 2017 and is generally valued at around 60 million Euros. I would assume this is way out of the club's range for what they want to spend.
But according to SempreInter the big centre half is only Liverpool's radar, along with Ozan Kabak and Perr Shuurs but would probably be priced out of a January move at this point.
If Liverpool do move for a centre back, and I still think that it's quite a slim chance in January (Klopp doesn't have a penchant for panicking in situations like this), it's likely to be in the £20-25 million bracket. Time will tell though.
