Sean Cox to leave hospital to attend LFC charity game
The amazing news this morning regarding Liverpool fan Sean Cox, who has spent the best part of the past 12 months in hospital, is that he'll attend the LFC Legends charity game.
The Red from Dublin was in Liverpool for the Anfield leg of our Champions League knockout with AS Roma last season, before he suffered life-changing injuries.
Sean was attacked by Roma fans outside the ground prior to the match and spent over a month at Walton Neurological centre before being transferred back to Ireland last year.
But, while his recovery has been slow, it has thankfully progressed to a point where he'll hopefully be capable of attending the charity game organised in his honour.
The match will be held on April 12th at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, in aid of the Sean Cox Rehabilitation Trust and the sight of Sean will no doubt inspire quite an atmosphere inside the stadium.
We can all agree, this is some bloody brilliant news on a Sunday morning!
