Robertson pride at being first Scot nominated for FIFPro Men's World11
It's been something of a whirlwind 18 months for Andy Robertson, as the 25 year old left back has gone from cheap option from relegated Hull City to best in the world.
The Scottish star has also gone on to be his country's captain, a two-time Champions League finalist and one time Champions League winner. As well as a Premier League runner-up.
And now he can add a first nomination to the FIFA FIFPro Men's World11 to that list as well, as he takes his place as the first Scottish footballer ever to be nominated.
He said: "I’m one of 55 – probably the biggest squad I have ever been involved in!
"Look, it’s obviously a massive thing for me but let’s see if I get in the XI or not.
"Even to be nominated alongside the players there is a special feeling. To have six of your teammates in there is really good too."
