Reported Liverpool target Sessegnon turns down new Fulham contract
Reports coming from Sky Sports today have claimed that Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon has turned down a new contract at the London side.
The 19 year old left-back has just a year left on his current contract and was generally expected to leave this summer anyway.
His refusal to sign a new contract almost confirms his exit and a player that has been linked with the Reds repeatedly for years could be back on the cards for Klopp's team.
Sessegnon was in massive demand last summer but stayed at the newly promoted side. He struggled to make an impact in the first few months though and didn't play as much as he perhaps may have wanted.
At such a tender age though, he still has the best years of his senior career ahead of him and his progress to this point has often been compared to a young version of Gareth Bale who rose through the ranks at Southampton.
The defender has spent most of his career playing as a left-back but, like Bale, is capable of playing further forward. He would likely cost around £30+ million this summer.
