Report: Origi to be subject of £10 million bid
Reports in the last 24 hours claim that Real Betis are planning to offer Liverpool around £10 million for Champions League star Divock Origi.
The Reds had no interest in allowing Origi to leave, according to local sources, with Jurgen happy to allow him another 12 months at least.
There were even claims that Liverpool would offer Origi a 12 month extension to his contract. No doubt as a security policy, if it doesn't quite work out for him.
But beIN Sports France reports that Real Betis are very keen on the striker and, like a number of players (Belgian compatriot, Mignolet included) Klopp won't stand in a players way if they choose to leave, but would prefer he stayed at Anfield.
Origi was the star of the Champions League semi-final, with a brace against Barcelona, before scoring the second - and winning - goal in the Champions League final.
It's unlikely that the player will want to leave though, as he seems happy to fight for his place again next season, and Liverpool fans are, on the whole, quite happy for him to do that.
