Report: Liverpool make enquiry for Barca's Dembele

I wouldn't hold your breath, as the reports are coming from some questionable sources, but Liverpool have reportedly made an enquiry for Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele.

It's no great secret that Jurgen Klopp is a great admirer of the Frenchman. Not least of all because he once played for the German manager's former club (albeit not under him).

But the questions surround whether Liverpool would be willing to fork out the reported valuation for the player of £90-odd million.

Coming from TEAMtalk (via AS) the claims are that Liverpool are interested and have been offered Dembele. But only provided his valuation is met.

The report from the Spanish outlet yesterday finishes with a sentence say: "Also the footballer would welcome the option to play in the Premier and Liverpool would be happy to have a player who promises to give a show."

Would Liverpool and Klopp be interested? Almost certainly. Would Liverpool and Klopp be prepared to break the club's transfer record once again? We're not that sure.
