Player Ratings: Liverpool 4-0 Barcelona (4-3 agg)

So, Jurgen's mentality monsters go from scraping a 3-2 away win at Newcastle to beating the best team in Europe 4-nil to make it to a second consecutive Champions League final. Absolute mentalness. Don't care that that's not a word.

This'll be a shorter one than usual!

Alisson - Some good early saves when Barca looked like they hadn't quite lost their bottle yet. 10

Trent Alexander-Arnold - That corner. The lad is 20. FFS. 10

Virgil Van Dijk - Untroubled by any of Barcelona's world-renowned attack. Organised well. Absolute beast. Made up for his dodgy first leg. 10

Joel Matip - Joel has gone from 4th choice centre back to almost overshadowing Van Dijk as our best defender at times. Was immense all night and over both legs. 10

Andy Robertson - Was good up until the little snide that used to play for us fouled him off the pitch. Gets a 10 regardless for laughing at Suarez's expense at full time. 10

Fabinho - We can't overstate this lad's quality. Pocketed Messi and dominated the middle all night long. 10

Jordan Henderson - A captain's display, showed big balls to stay on after what had looked like a game ending injury. 10

James Milner- Probably never expected to be playing two consecutive Champions League finals when he joined us but he's earned his place as much as anyone. Never let Barca's midfield settle. 10

Sadio Mane - A bargain for what we paid for him, his work rate and sheer quality have been the one constant for us up front all season. They just couldn't handle little Sadio. 10

Xherdan Shaqiri - Wasn't having the best of nights but kept on puffing out his chest and getting on with it. Worked his way into the second half and didn't stop running. 10

Divock Origi - Anyone who says they saw this coming is a total liar. But big Div earned his chance and boy, did he take it. Two goals and he deserves his MOTM award for being alert enough to score the winner. 10 Man of the Match

Gini Wijnaldum - A 2nd half sub for Robbo and scored twice in barely 30 seconds. His ability to turn defence into attack after having retained possession was crucial. 10

Joe Gomez - Helped us to shore up the left side late on in the match. 10

Daniel Sturridge - Almost set up a 5th goal and managed to do some decent defensive work in the short span of time he was on. 10
