Player Ratings: Arsenal 2-1 Liverpool

The less said about that, the better. A semi-decent overall display, marred by two massive errors by our 'Mr Reliables', Alisson and Virgil Van Dijk.

A goal ahead, looking so easy, it was perhaps inevitable for a group of players that now look as if they're on holiday.

Arsenal took the 3 points, totally undeservedly but when you gift wrap their only two clear cut chances on a plate, you're going to be punished.

On to Chelsea next, it is, with the chance to set a new league points record gone. We can still reach 99 points, which will be a big points haul all the same.

Alisson - A terrible blunder, with an under-hit pass to Robertson allowing Arsenal to sneak in for their second in the first half. 5

Trent Alexander-Arnold - Did okay at the back, but his delivery and attacking instinct weren't quite there. Like a lot of his team mates, was lacking that same desire he usually has. 6

Virgil Van Dijk - An uncharacteristic mistake led to Arsenal's first but he was otherwise untroubled. Which is why it was such a disappointment. 6

Joe Gomez - The better of our defenders and was completely untroubled by Arsenal throughout. 7

Andy Robertson - Had the responsibility of a lot of our set pieces but his delivery was really poor. 6

Fabinho - One of our few good players. Had a bit more work to do defensively that he did on Saturday but still wasn't overly troubled. Easily bossed the midfield but his two partners didn't really turn up tonight. 7

Gini Wijnaldum - He's often accused, by those without a lot of football knowledge, of ghosting through games. Tonight, they were spot on. He was poor and anonymous. 6

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - Poor. Really poor. How it took over an hour for him to be taken off is baffling. We all like the Ox, but Jurgen has to stop persisting with a player so badly out of form when the likes of Keita and Jones have shown form in recent months. 5

Sadio Mane - Our most likely player to make something happen but it was a frustrating night for the winger. Had a couple of good chances but couldn't take them. 7 Man of the Match

Mo Salah - A bit of a game to forget for Salah. Had at least two clear cut chances but couldn't score. Was visibly unhappy to be going off but was clearly just as annoyed with himself for a raft of scuffed chances. 6

Roberto Firmino - A subdued Bobby is usually not an effective one and he was certainly in subdued mode tonight. 6

Subs:

Naby Keita - When he came on against Burnley he looked a bit like he was on his holidays. Today was the same. 6

Takumi Minamino - Really made the home team realise they were in a game. Worked hard and put in a good shift. Got off a decent shot soon after coming on. 7

Xherdan Shaqiri - Looked lively and full of tricks after coming on. Makes you wonder: if he was fit, why wasn't he on when it was clear so many of his team mates were sub-par. 6

Divock Origi - Gave a free kick away in the box for our last roll of the dice. Sums up his season really. NA
