Peter Moore offers LFC stewards to help with crowd control at supermarkets
As the whole of the UK hastens toward a full, country-wide lockdown, the situation at supermarkets and stores selling food and vital necessities is seemingly getting worse.
Stores are extending hours for NHS staff and pensioners, whilst queues around the block most mornings this weekend and the situation only promises to get more intense in the coming weeks.
This morning LFC CEO Peter Moore has offered the club's stewards (who've volunteered) to help with crowd control and to assist the elderly around the stores.
In his Tweet this morning, he said:
It comes after week when both Liverpool and Everton have extended aid and help in the community and shown their utmost support during the Covid-19 pandemic.
