Oxlade-Chamberlain could make surprise squad return against Fulham
With the news today that the likes of Thiago, Van Dijk, Gomez, Shaqiri and Milner are definitely out, there was some further bad news. And a bit of positive too.
According to the boss both Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas are likely to miss the trip to London after picking up knocks in Denmark on Wednesday night.
But good news also came in the form of news that Alisson could actually start on Sunday, if he was to train today. And Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may even travel with the squad.
Klopp said: "He has been doing parts of training now for a week or so, he is now in full training and we will see.
"So the situation probably demands to involve him as soon as possible, but I don’t know if the weekend is that already. Nobody else is coming back, I’m afraid."
It doesn't sound as if the English midfielder will be involved on Sunday, but he could be involved in the squad, at least, from the sounds of things which is a midfield boost just when we needed it.
Both Trent and Naby Keita returned in the week and both are ready, expecting to play some part on Sunday too.
