Neville: Barca vs LFC too close to call, if we get through
According to Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville, a potential tie in the semi finals between Barcelona and the Reds would be too close to call.
Baring in mind that the former Man Utd captain is jumping the gun a bit, with Liverpool not yet fully through against Porto, it's all a bit presumptuous at the moment.
But he thinks we've got as good a chance as any other side left in it of halting the Catalan side's procession.
Talking to beIN SPORTS after the match last night, he said: "When you get into the semi-final you’re definitely good enough to win the competition.
"But that first five minutes against Manchester United - they’re likely to play Liverpool in the semi-final and Liverpool are a lot better than United and won’t let them off the hook like that.
"Liverpool’s front three will cause massive problems so I think it’s a 50-50 tie that semi-final.
"I wouldn’t say it’s Barcelona as favourites by any stretch of the imagination.
"Liverpool are a good side and have a lot more energy than this Barcelona team. They don’t have as much control or rhythm in midfield but I think certainly they can match them defensively and up top."
Regardless of how the match goes against Porto tonight, it's clear that Jurgen Klopp has brought the team and club on in leaps and bounds since taking over 3 years back.
