Murphy: Harvey Elliott will be a 'superstar' for Liverpool
Former Liverpool (and Fulham) player Danny Murphy has predicated that Harvey Elliott would be an inspired signing for the club, should the player sign.
The 16-year old Fulham starlet has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield this morning, with a number of sources claiming that the Reds will beat Man City, Barca, Real Madrid and PSG to the youngster's signature.
Elliott is known to be a boyhood Liverpool fan and has long dreamed of making his move North to Liverpool and it looks like Jurgen Klopp will finally make that dream come true.
And former LFC midfielder Danny Murphy has said (via the Liverpool Echo) that it will turn out to be a great move by the club.
He said: "It might not transpire this summer, but in the next couple of seasons I would imagine they’re hoping he develops to get some first-team action.
"He’s a great dribbler, he’s very sharp and he’s got good feet.
"He could play in one of those front three roles, that’s probably where we’d see him get his go.
"We’ll probably see him in a cup competition this season.
"I think this kid could be a superstar and if he has got the talent to do it, he’s at the right place."
The forward made his Premier League debut for Fulham last season, becoming the youngster ever player to do so.
