Mo Salah to miss Leicester game, regardless of negative test
After Mo Salah tested positive for Coronavirus last week, it was hoped that the forward would be available, with him due to have another test on Thursday.
But, according to the Mirror, regardless of that result Salah will not be able to feature as Premier League rules state that players have to isolate for 10 days after testing positive, whether or not they later return a negative test.
The forward also attended his brother's wedding in Egypt, so there are some concerns that he may have to isolate for 14 days, as players on international duty are apparently required to remain in 'an international travel corridor'.
The paper states that the club will be seeking clarification about this, and hope that the exemptions for footballers still stands in this case, meaning Salah will be available to face Atalanta on Wednesday night. Provided he returns a negative test this week.
