Mo Salah: Barcelona win was unbelievable
Mo Salah has been Liverpool's starring player for the past two seasons, with a ridiculous goal 99 goal involvements over the 102 games he's played for the club.
But he was absent against Barcelona on Tuesday night, in a game that many believed would be Liverpool's last in this season's competition.
As many people also do though, they had the stupidity to believe that we'd go down without a fight. The final result, of course, was an aggregate win to Liverpool and another final.
Mo may have been missing on that night, but he was in the stands to watch his team mates pull off probably the greatest European result Anfield has ever seen.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Mo spoke of his amazement at the final score and the lad's performance: "It was unbelievable.
"Last season we qualified [for the final] in Rome away, so we couldn’t enjoy it as much [as at Anfield]. Now we qualified at our home, so it was unbelievable.
"Two times in the final in a row is something unbelievable. I hope this season we’re going to win it."
The club's official website also pressed Salah on whether or not he'd be available for Sunday at Anfield, as Wolves look to end our title challenge on the final day.
He said: "I will be ready, yes."
