Match Preview: Brighton vs Liverpool
Date & time: July 8th, 2020 - 20:00
Where: AMEX Stadium
Is it on: Sky Sports
Ref: Craig Pawson
A home win against Aston Villa on Sunday was just what Liverpool needed. It was a bit laboured at times, but once the game wore on Liverpool eventually dominated.
Villa once again succumbed, as they did last year, eventually losing a game they may have felt they deserved something from. But the Reds go marching on again.
Liverpool will face a very different prospect against Brighton tomorrow evening. A very different Brighton as well. This team will attempt to play expansive football, catch Liverpool on the break, sure, but they won't concede over 70% of possession like Aston Villa did.
So the Reds won't be able to cruise through the first hour as they did on Sunday, particularly as the home side are still in need of a few more points to guarantee their Premier League status for another season.
Injuries & Suspension
Liverpool could still be without Dejan Lovren, with Joel Matip definitely missing. Whilst James Milner could return.
For Brighton, there are no injuries or absences of any notes, so Graham Potter has a full compliment to pick from.

Predicted Line up
We're likely to see something resembling a rotated starting XI for the first time since the restart tomorrow night, with one or two regulars given a rest.
They'll be on the bench, sure, but we'll likely start an interesting line up against Brighton, one that could throw up a few surprise as Liverpool chance a Premier League points record.
Predicated starting XI: Alisson, Williams, Milner, Van Dijk, Gomez, Fabinho, Henderson, Keita, Minamino, Salah and Firmino.
Subs: Adrian, Gomez, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones and Origi.
