Mane's Klopp comments show his future lies at Liverpool
When the summer comes around Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp will be fighting off suitors for many of his star players and Sadio Mane will likely be one of the most sought after.
Reports in recent months, since Real Madrid brought in yet another manager, claim that Madrid will go in hard for Mane in the summer.
But LFC are in the strongest position we've been in for about 30 years and have no need, or desire, to sell our best players. Unless, of course, they try to force their way abroad.
The words of Mane today though, will likely have been music to the ears of Klopp and fans alike. Speaking via the Liverpool Echo, Mane said: "To be honest he is a great man, you can see it and he is a lovely person.
"He loves all his players and is very close to his players too. He also demands a lot but he never puts pressure on us other than asking the best of us.
"He only asks you to do your best in whatever you are doing and also to enjoy it.
"I think that's important because, under him, everybody has progressed a lot as everyone can see. It's very important for us to work with him for more years."
There you have it: one of our best players this season (the last 3, to be fair) is happy, loves playing for Klopp and we can only hope that he has a trophy or two to show for it come the end of the season.
