Mane: 'I want to get better next season'
It's hard to really think how a player of Sadio Mane's quality can improve on a season that finally confirmed his status at the 'world class' level of players but the winger wants to do so.
Mane was in his 3rd season at Anfield last year, and had his best year to date at the club, scoring 26 goals with 5 assists overall.
Since joining the club, Mane has 59 goals in 122 games for the Reds and was a key figure at many points last season for the team.
But speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Mane has said he really wants to improve again. He said: "To be honest, I think I improved a lot in my finishing.
"It was positive because I can say I improved every season, which is important in my development. I will try to work harder and harder to get better and better."
With that in mind, the midfielder is just keen to continue being successful and winning more trophies for the fans.
He continued: "We have a great, great team.
"The future can be exciting, for sure. We’ll try to do everything to create something special."
