Lovren reveals what Klopp said: 'Show some f**king balls!'
It wouldn't be Jurgen Klopp if there weren't a few expletive-ridden lines after a match like that last night.
But if you believe Degsie Lovren then Klopp gave them his best, sweary speech before kick-off last night, telling the lads what he expected of them and to leave it all on the pitch.
Speaking after the match, Lovren told Liverpoolfc.com: "He lifted us up so much. He just said 'Believe - put it in your mind that you can do it'. We never heard that from him before.
"He said 'Boys, belief. One, two goals. Even if we don't score in the first 15 or 20 minutes. Believe in the 65, 66, 67 minutes that we can score. With Anfield behind, trust me guys, we can do it. We did it once, the Dortmund game, and we can do it tonight. Just show some f***ing balls'.
"And we did it!
"From Divock, to Shaqiri, guys who haven't had too many games the last couple of weeks but we're amazing. Then you see the players in the stands crying, that's what it means to this club.
"Personally for me, it's another final and I really want to win something. It's just unbelievable."
The winner of the other semi final tonight - Ajax vs Spurs - will face Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid on June 1st 2019.
But Lovren and the lads won't care who they play, they will just want to go one better than they did last season. Lovren continued: "To compare, maybe the Dortmund game. But this tonight, I don't have the words, and I don't think I will have the words in 25 years.
"But we've done it. Another final. Last year we were in the final and there were tears everywhere, today it was tears of joy and hopefully tears of joy in the final.
"It's something massive. All over the world people will talk about this game for many years, and that's what makes this team different from any other teams.
"Everybody should be proud. It's a once in a lifetime thing. It's a beautiful night."
