Liverpool update on Mo Salah injury
After having missed out on the big game at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, Liverpool are confident that Mo Salah will be available to play Genk on Wednesday night.
Divock Origi was started in Salah's place against Man Utd on Sunday and left a lot to be desired. When Origi has played in the past, he's shown signs of real quality and allowed the team to not really miss Salah.
But on Sunday it was evident that a player of Salah's quality can't be replaced so easily, as Liverpool laboured to break United down without one of the team's key men.
So knowing he could return on Wednesday night, particularly with Spurs due at Anfield 4 days later, is positive news for the Reds indeed.
Salah has been out since he was injured against Leicester City over 2 weeks ago and was left out of the squad entirely yesterday. Klopp has confirmed after the game on Sunday that there is a chance he could play against the Belgian side on Wednesday.
