Liverpool squad value rockets after Champions League triumph
The Liverpool squad value at the start of last season was the highest it's ever been, but as of the start of this season we have 5 players valued over £100 million.
It's a ridiculous sum of money for the just 5 players but then, given the current market, it only really makes sense.
According to CIES Football Observatory, Mo Salah is the second most valuable player in Europe at €219M (£200m), with Kylian Mbappe the highest valued at €252m (£231m).
The Liverpool players valued over £100 million are Sadio Mane at €157m (£144m), while Firmino's price tag is €144m (£132m).
Virgil van Dijk is now worth €112m (£102m), apparently, which seems small change compared to the £80 million of Harry Maguire.
Whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold is valued at €130m (£119m). There were a number of other Reds listed in the top 100, with Alisson just narrowly missing out on the £100 million valuation range.
