Liverpool & Salzburg charged for 'fan offences'
It was a heck of a European night at Anfield on Wednesday, not for the usual reasons, with Liverpool smashing an opposition side or making a great comeback.
Instead it was the away team making a great comeback, from 3 goals down 35 minutes in to 3-3 by the hour mark. Liverpool would later kill off the game and win 4-3.
But the match was more than matched off the field, with both sets of fans in good voice, particularly the Austrian support who had travelled to Anfield in their thousands.
Unfortunately, a few incidents have led to both clubs being charged for 'fan offences', with LFC fans - yet again - rushing onto the pitch during and after the match.
Whilst the Austrian champions have been charged as their fans were throwing objects onto the pitch. It mars what was otherwise a game played in good spirits.
