Liverpool's Adrian slept with the Super Cup trophy!
Former West Ham keeper Adrian, who signed for Liverpool during the summer transfer window, has revealed that he slept with the UEFA Super Cup trophy.
The 32 year old was the hero of the penalty shoot out, saving the final Chelsea penalty from Tammy Abraham and giving the Champions League winners from last season more glory.
Following the match Jurgen Klopp was once again in fine form, mocking the Rocky scene where Sylvester Stallone calls for his wife - Adrian - from the ring, in honor of the hero.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, the Spanish stopper said: "In my time at West Ham many people called me like this.
"My name is funny to do this joke.
"The manager was great in that moment. Everyone was happy, smiling in that situation and the manager had a great moment.
"After just one week, I played in the Super Cup and got this great feeling. I felt full of happiness in myself.
"I was having dinner with the guys after the game and I spoke with Millie and he said, 'OK, do you want to take the trophy with you?'.
"I said, 'I will sleep with her, I'm more than happy to sleep with her!'."
Adrian will return between the sticks against Arsenal this weekend, looking to atone for his mistake against Southampton at the weekend, as the Reds looks to get back to their usual solids selves at the back.
