Liverpool reportedly want Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon
According to reports from Portugal this morning, Liverpool FC have emerged as front runners to sign Sporting Lisbon star, Bruno Fernandes.
The news was brought to us by Correira de Manha, who report that the club could be forced in to selling their captain due to issues with the club's finances and the Reds are supposedly one of the major giants in line to sign the midfielder says the Daily Mirror.
The 24-year old Portugal international has been at the club for 2 seasons, after signings from Sampdoria and has amassed 16 goals and 21 assists in 17/18 and already has 22 and 11 this season.
Even in the Portuguese league, those are insane stats for a midfielder. But he also has an insane release clause, which reportedly stands at £90 million.
We just can't see Jurgen Klopp splurging that much on another player but then who would have thought we'd spend the money we did on Alisson?
One thing is for sure, the midfielder is almost certain to be on the move in the next 12 months, maybe as early as this summer.
