Liverpool report Lazio to FIFA for tapping up youth player
It's a bit late now like, considering that the player has already moved to Lazio, but the Reds have apparently reported the Serie A giants to FIFA over 'tapping up' concerns.
The claims relate to former LFC academy star Bobby Adekanye, who joined the club from Liverpool during this transfer window on a free transfer.
Adekanye had frustrated the club by rejected several new contract offers, apparently not happy about lack of first-team opportunities.
Lazio had to only pay the player's training cost, a paltry £250,000 and he was their player but Liverpool have taken exception to how the club went about it, according to the reports.
The concerns arose during an interview the 20 year old gave in March, which appeared to suggest that Lazio had already been in contact.
