Liverpool may resume group training mid-May
After the meeting of the 20 clubs in the Premier League on Friday, it became more clear that it's now unlikely that the league will be voided. At least not anytime soon.
So Liverpool fans can rest assured that we'll probably get to see our players lift the actual trophy before the year is out.
When the season will start again is open to question, but in an interview given with the Valencian FF, Reds youngster Pedro Chirivella has seemingly revealed when the lads may be back in training officially.
He's quoted as saying: "We have been told that until mid-May we will train separately. "Then three or four weeks training with the group and if we can, we could play in June."
So the lads look like they'll be back by the middle of next month. Considering they'll have been isolating with their families for almost two months, would suggest that the expectation is that lockdown will be slightly eased over the next few weeks, or so.
