Liverpool find new partner in Peter Moore's old employer EA
Announced today, Liverpool have joined forces with our CEO's old employers EA Sports, aimed at giving Reds' fans new content across social media channels.
That's according to the club's official website. Who say that this will be content specific to LFC and aimed at the club's fanbase.
It should be interesting for Liverpool fans who are keen FIFA, with the latest iteration in the series - FIFA 20 - due out in a few month's time.
The Reds' sporting director, Billy Hogan, said: "Both on and off the pitch, we’re always looking for new ways to bring our fans around the world closer to the club that they love.
"Our partnership with EA SPORTS will enable us to give our supporters even more opportunities to engage with Liverpool FC through the innovative and exciting world of gaming. We look forward to working together over the next few years."
EA Sports joins a great many new partners that Liverpool have attracted since Jurgen Klopp arrived at the club, and will present an interesting, new angle from which to interact with one of the biggest sports fan-bases in the world.
He continued: "We always strive to blur the lines between the virtual and real worlds of football. By partnering with Liverpool FC, we are delighted to continue breaking new ground, providing unrivalled authenticity to fans across the globe.
"It’s fantastic to become the club’s official football simulation game partner and we’re looking forward to working with the European Champions over the course of the partnership."
