Liverpool Echo: 9 players set to leave LFC this summer
According to the Liverpool Echo, while it doesn't look likely to be a busy summer of incomings for the team, it will be with regards players going out.
With that in mind, they've taken a look at 9 players they believe are likely to be on their way this summer.
They report that the players on their way will be (obviously) Daniel Sturridge, Alberto Moreno and.. Adam Bogdan.
The rest are younger lads from the youth setup, with Connor Randall (who is now 23, but still eligible for the YPOTY award!), Juanma Garcia, Bobby Adekanye, Corey Whelan, Conor Masterson and Edvard Tagseth.
So a little bit misleading, really, as you can imagine many fans clicking that expecting to see a host of senior players.
Many of the younger players are either deemed not good enough/surplus to requirements, or - as in Bobby Adekanye's case - have allowed their contracts to run down.
Meanwhile, while Daniel Sturridge had a good start to the season, he's gradually fallen behind Divock Origi in the pecking order and will no doubt be behind Rhian Brewster next season too.
Adam Bogdan has never had any minutes or even warmed a bench under Jurgen Klopp and will be moved on at the first opportunity.
Whilst Alberto Moreno has barely played any serious part since the season began and will no doubt head back to Spain in this summer.
We'd probably add a few more players to that list, as potentially being allowed to move on if the right offer comes in, such as Divock Origi, Adam Lallana and Simon Mignolet, but Klopp is known to not be fond of massive changes to his squads and big overhauls.
Either way, it's unlikely we'll see more coming in than going out this summer so it'll be another win for net spend, in many ways!
