Liverpool challenging Euro giants for Dutch youth sensation
If you thought that the Reds' very own Ki-Jana Hoever was highly rated then you've heard nothing until you read about PEC Zwolle's Sepp van den Berg.
The 17-year old has a massive decision to make in the next 72 hours, according to various outlets, as to where his future may well lie.
He's is in high demand reportedly, with Sampdoria initially thinking they'd stolen a march on the usual European giants earlier this year but now those giants have taken a look at him.
Liverpool is one of those, and they're apparently near the front of the queue for the young star, who will no doubt be urged to join the Reds to learn from the Dutch master himself, Virgil Van Dijk.
Of course, he'll also be in good company in the youth setup, playing alongside his international compatriot in Hoever himself.
Van den Berg played 15 top-flight matches for the Zwolle last season and was highly impressive, leading to many at LFC believing he could go straight into the first team.
However, the play would be to initially put him into the youth setup, with a view to making a break into the team over the next couple of seasons.
