Liverpool boss Klopp signs exclusive endorsement deal with Adidas
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly signed an exclusive deal with Adidas this week, with an official announcement expected this week.
According to the Telegraph Klopp has gone against convention in signing his own endorsement deal with Adidas, in the same week the club's new kit sponsorship deal with Nike has produced our first kit of the deal.
Jurgen has become one of the most famous and notable figures in world sport, often quoted and cited by coaches and fellow sporting faces around the world. However, with Adidas being a German sportswear company, it does make much more sense.
He is also, of course, one of the greatest - if not, currently, the greatest - in coaches in the world and undoubtedly ever. So for Adidas, having a man who currently manages the team that are World, European and English champions simultaneously was a real no-brainer.
There are no details, as yet, about how much this deal will be worth to Jurgen but absolutely nobody can begrudge the German benefiting personally from the massive success he's brought to the fans and players of LFC in the past couple of seasons.
