Liverpool apparently keen on Madrid's Ceballos
As the current summer transfer window rumbles on, there's little in the way of interest - still - for Reds fans, so most of what you're getting at the moment is rumours and gossip.
Today is no different, with the Mirror reporting that Liverpool are in the running to take Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid.
The reports come from the UK tabloid, but apparently they originate with Marca, leaving us even more sceptical.
Ceballos, believe it or not, is still only 22 and has recently won the U21's Championship with Spain but seemingly has little-to-no future at the Bernabeu.
The midfielder played over 30 times for Real last season, with just 15 of those from the start. 5 goals and assists is not a great return.
Last season was his best the the club but he is apparently surplus to requirements and will reportedly cost around £30 million. Marca report that Liverpool have increased their interest in recent weeks. We find that highly doubtful.
