LFC vs Barca Legends game postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak
The club has tonight announced that the Liverpool FC vs Barcelona legends match, scheduled for Saturday 28th of March has been postponed.
So far, few games involving British clubs have been postponed, or even played behind closed doors, and despite this being a friendly game it's a decision that will not have been taken lightly.
The game is due to be rearranged at a future date, however so fans with tickets should hold on to them, according to the club.
Meanwhile, there is no immediate plan to cancel any public sporting events or gatherings. The Prime Minister said, during his press conference tonight: "We are considering the question of banning major public events, including sporting fixtures.
"The scientific advice is this has little effect on the spread - but it does place a burden on other public services."
So there you have it, go about your business as usual, just wash your hands a bit more and retain your British 'stiff upper lip'.
