LFC reportedly interested in RC Genk midfielder Berge
As if Liverpool haven't already got their fair share of midfielders at the club, we're apparently interested in RC Genk midfielder Sander Berge.
The 21 year old Norway international has been a member of the Belgian club's first team squad since making his debut in 2016 and has since made over 90 appearances for the first team.
He's not the most prolific goalscorer, instead preferring to concentrate primarily on the defensive side of the game but he is considered a massive prospect by his club and country.
The reports of his links to us come from CalcioNapoliTV, who spoke to Italian journalist Ciro Venerato.
He told them: "Berge? If Napoli goes for a player stalked by Liverpool, they come second. It is well known that there are major clubs in the world. They like Berge, but I don’t know if he will come."
According to reports, Berge is valued in the region of £15-20 million. Which may seem steep for a 21 year old Norwegian youngster but with 20 caps for his country and almost 100 club appearances you'd be getting a mixture of youth and experience together.
