LFC re-open Melwood ahead of government announcement Sunday
Despite the continually high death-toll throughout the UK, it is widely expected that the Prime Minister will announce a relaxing of lockdown restrictions on Sunday.
For many football fans, we're probably more interested in when the season can restart, after being without our favourite past-time for the past 2 months.
Today Melwood re-opened for the first time since March, at least partially, ahead of the PM's press conference this coming Sunday.
According to the Liverpool Echo, no more than 3 players will be allowed into the training ground at any one time, to use the club facilities.
The reason for this is that each player will be given their own training pitch, and be overseen by a fitness coach as they look to build up their fitness ahead of a potential restart soon.
After it was reported that the Bundesliga would return next weekend, football fans everywhere have been gearing up for a Premier League return. But, obviously, not before it's safe to do so.
