LFC magician, Michael Edwards, at it again - £15 million for Nathaniel Clyne?
If LFC resident Gandalf impersonator, Michael Edwards, hadn't done enough already, well the fact that the club is now demanding £15 million for Nathaniel Clyne will surely put him up there with the real club legends.
All jokes aside, Clyne was a solid full-back, but he just isn't in Klopp's plans and if we can get our money back that'd be great. But getting a couple of million more would be ideal.
Apparently, West Ham are keen on the player, with Bournemouth also interested in making his loan deal permanent.
According to Goal.com, Liverpool are using the example set by Leicester spending around £17 million on Ricardo Peirera as a benchmark and will demand £15 million.
Clyne is believed to be happy at Bournemouth, having really hit it off with Eddie Howe's squad but West Ham will offer a return to London, something Clyne is keen to do.
Either way, if Liverpool can pocket another profit from the sale of an average player and add it to the summer transfer funds, then everybody's happy really.
