LFC linked to Ajax's Neres and Wolves' Neves
The Reds, hot on the heels of another comfortable Champions League win at Anfield, are being linked with a couple of Europe's young top talents.
We all know of Ruben Neves, the young Wolves star, who has been turning heads with his mature and particularly cultured displays as his side took to the Premier League like ducks to water this season.
Neves, still only 22, has played in most of Wolves' Premier League and cup games this season and acts as the player who makes them tick.
According to Portuguese outlet O'Jogo, the Reds still hold a strong interest in the player, as evidenced by our own Pep Ljinders comments about the player again this week.
The young Portuguese star would no doubt command a fee in the region of £50+ million in the summer.
Meanwhile, we're also apparently interested Ajax's David Neres, also 22, who is a Brazilian winger having a heck of a season for the Dutch league leaders.
Neres has scored 12 and assisted a further 15 in a great season for him, and scored a fantastic equaliser in the first leg against Juventus last night.
The player has been at Ajax since 2016 and made his breakthrough into the team last season. The Mirror report that the Reds will look to rival Everton for the wide-man.
