Klopp says Salah is available to play Napoli
He was on the bench away at Palace today, was even readied to come on at one point, but you could clearly tell that Klopp was reluctant to bring him on.
You could even suggest that he was a little pissed off that he was having to bring him on, but thankfully Mo got to have a bit more time to recover.
Following the match though, the boss declared that the Egypt superstar would be available to start against Napoli in the Champions League in the week.
He said (via the Liverpool Echo): "Mo is all good.
"He couldn't train for nine days.
"He was with Egypt, went home, trained 60-70% the day before yesterday, and was first time 100% yesterday.
"We had to make the decision whether to start him or not. We didn't start him, we were about to bring him on when we scored the winner (with five minutes remaining).
"So we could rest him today. That's really good. Wednesday he will be back."
