Klopp reportedly wants Romagnoli to partner Van Dijk
Reports today are suggesting that Liverpool are interested bringing in Milan's Italian international Alessio Romagnoli to partner Virgil Van Dijk.
In an article dramatically titled 'Liverpool's final offensive by Alessio Romagnoli', Fichajes state that Liverpool are rivalled by Barca and Man City for the defender.
Apparently, he's valued at 60 million Euros and the suggestion from the article's writer is that 'Liverpool has always had a significant lack with players like Joel Matip, Joe Gomez or Dejan Lovren.'
You might do well to tell that to Liverpool fans, who at various times of the season have hailed both Joel Matip and Joe Gomez, and rightly so.
No doubt Romagnoli is a fine young centre back, still yet to reach his prime, and at that price would probably be considered a bargain these days. But I'm not quite sure that Liverpool need such an expensive 4th choice central defender.
