Klopp provides LFC fitness and injury update ahead of Leicester match
And so, another highly damaging international break came to an end and the Reds were left picking up the pieces.
Jurgen Klopp gave an update this morning on which players will be available, which are 'touch and go', and which are definitely ready for the game on Sunday in his pre-match press conference today.
Regarding Mo Salah, who had another positive test this week, he said: "He is back today. When you have a negative test, the process really starts. We have nothing to say in public to be honest.
"I was in Germany in the summer. A friend moved his birthday party because of me. 50 people attended that and at the last minute I decided not to go. It was allowed in Germany at the time.
"A brother's wedding is a very special moment. My players are incredibly disciplined."
Whilst, both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson are definitely ruled out, also: "We will see. Hendo not, Trent not. That is clear. Everyone else, we will see. Who were the others?
"They (Thiago and Fabinho) are in a good way. Ox is in a good way. They are closer but we will see if they are close enough for the weekend."
So it's looking very much like we'll all be hoping and praying that both Thiago and Fabinho are able to start, but at this point I wouldn't pin your hopes on it.
But it typical Klopp fashion, he refused to bemoan his situation, as always: "We just take it game by game.
"There's no season you don't have injury problems, it's just a lot in the same position which makes it tricky.
"We don't feel self pity or sorry for ourselves, it's just the situation. We are in the solution process. We have players available."
