Klopp: Gomez and Oxlade-Chamberlain back for title run-in
Today Jurgen Klopp provided the update that all Liverpool fans wanted to hear: Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will return over the next few weeks for the crunch period of Liverpool's season in the Champions League and Premier League.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference, Klopp said: "It's a rather positive moment.
"Most of the things will probably be rather after the international break. For example, Joe.
"Joe is now running with 100% of his weight because we have different opportunities to run. He is now 100% (running), that's good. It looks good."
Gomez has been missing from the squad since December and would provide Jurgen Klopp with stronger options at the back, after having to rely on Fabinho at centre back at times during his, and Dejan Lovren's, absences.
On the fitness of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Klopp added: "Rhian (Brewster) trained, looked really good, but he is in the situation Ox was maybe in three weeks ago. In a really good way."
The news on Milner and Lovren was also positive, with both potentially being available for selection in Sunday's match day squad against Burnley.
