Keita confirmed fit for LFC vs Bournemouth
After what was an improved, but ultimately not quite good enough performance against Chelsea tonight, Liverpool could do with some positivity going into the weekend.
And with the new that Naby Keita will return, they have got just that. It wasn't a terrible display, by any means, but there was a distinct lack of drive and creativity once again.
That was the problem against Watford at the weekend, and in the absence of a bang in form Jordan Henderson, his midfield partners have failed to step up.
So having Keita back for the visit to Anfield of Bournemouth will be a massive boost, as LFC will look to hopefully get back to winning ways ahead of the second leg against Atletico next week. It'll be crucial to ensure that he season doesn't fizzle out on all other fronts.
Keita has missed the last few games with a hip problem but Jurgen confirmed earlier that he'd be fit and available again for the match on Saturday morning.
He told Liverpoolfc.com: "A little, little, little bit but enough with his hip. I can't really say more, that's the only information I got from the medical department.
"[He] is not ready [but] could be ready after that game, but for that game not. It's not serious but obviously serious enough."
