Injury Update: Fabinho and Shaqiri to expected to return to training
It's some brilliant news on the injury front for Liverpool, as James Milner looks like he may be out for a little while himself, with the news that Fabinho and Shaq could return this week.
Shaqiri's involvement has been on and off over the past month or so, picking up niggles and knocks but his return will add to our attacking options.
But it's the unexpected return of Fabinho that will hearten fans most, as the classy Brazilian midfielder could also return to training this week ahead of Spurs on Sunday.
The likelihood that either will take part is slim, but the fact that they're expected to be back in training is good news in itself.
By the time he returns Fabinho will have been out for around 6 weeks, during which time captain Jordan Henderson has generally played in his role with little fuss or drop off in quality.
There is no doubting the 26 year old brings something totally different to our midfield. And his return, along with Shaqiri and Oxlade-Chamberlain yesterday, will definitely be a huge boost to the squad.
