Injury blow for Barcelona ahead of Champions League semi second leg
Barcelona sent out a much weakened team against their league rivals on Saturday, Celta Vigo, losing 2-nil but that will have mattered little to Ernesto Valverde.
What will have hit the Spanish champions harder, is the injury of Ousmane Dembele who had to come off during the match.
The 21-year old didn't start against LFC in the first leg, but was likely to take Coutinho's place for the trip to Liverpool on Tuesday night, after his disappointing showing.
Dembele left the field and Barca later reported it was a hamstring injury, meaning that the away side will lose the only player they have with pace that would genuinely trouble us.
That said, they rested almost their entire first 11 last night, so they will no doubt be fresh and ready to go at Anfield on Tuesday night.
