Here we go again: 'Real make Mane signing a big priority'
Haven't we all heard this before over the years? Apparently Real Madrid have made signing Sadio Mane their big 'priority' this summer.
Having signed the supposedly 'elite' Eden Hazard in the summer just gone, you'd assume the Real overlord would be content but the Belgian star has so far failed to fill Cristiano Ronaldo's rather large boots with just a single goal and four assists so far.
Sadio Mane, on the other hand, has already bagged thirteen goals and ten assists in just 25 games, marking him out as an elite attacker, in all senses of the word.
So according to Sports Mole the Madrid club are now planning to make signing Mane their summer's 'Galactico' moment, with the club struggling to reach the same heights since Ronaldo left a year and a half ago.
For what it's worth, they do also say that Liverpool are likely to demand far more than the Spanish team are willing to pay for him, with Mane's valuation now surely well in excess of what Barca gave us for Coutinho two years ago.
It's also mentioned that the impending Gareth Bale sale will mean that a suitable replacement is required.
But as things stand, Liverpool have no need to sell, and are currently in the strongest position we've been in in over forty years and, quite frankly, we honestly don't think even Real Madrid can afford to buy the player.
