Harry Wilson has one eye on Liverpool return
It's been a hell of a season so far for Harry Wilson, playing under Frank Lampard at Derby County, where he's scored 12 goals and assisted a further 4 in 30 games.
The 21 year old Welsh star has also been capped 8 times by his country, with 7 of those caps coming since 2018 alone.
Many Reds fans were desperate for Wilson to return in January, during a time when the team were struggling for squad depth during a bad injury spell.
But the player himself has made his future intentions clear, speaking via the Daily Mirror, he said: “The main focus this season is to get promoted with Derby.
"But my goal is to play for Liverpool. I have always felt like a Liverpool player. Everything is going along the right path."
And the Reds starlet had only good things to say about Jurgen Klopp too, with the manager seemingly capable of enamouring players from a distance as well.
He continued: "A couple of weeks ago there was another message saying, 'Good result, good goal - keep going'. When you get those texts, it is a massive boost.
"I makes you know that you aren't forgotten."
The club has made it quite clear that Wilson will not be recalled this season, but we'd be incredibly surprised if he wasn't a big part of Klopp's squad for next season.
