Harry Wilson has decision to make regarding Liverpool future
It really is hard to know where young Welsh star Harry Wilson's future lies. On the one hand, he's a potentially top class young winger, with enough quality already.
He's been one of Premier League side Bournemouth's star performers so far this season, only missing out on Saturday because he can't play against his parent club.
On the other hand, it's a long, hard road to the LFC first-team right now, with his path to the senior side blocked by the likes of Salah, Mane, Firmino, Minamino, Shaqiri and Origi.
It's highly likely that Shaqiri and/or Big Div could be on their way in the summer, leaving a spare spot as an understudy, but would Wilson be happy with that, having already played 23 games in the top flight this season.
But then the rumours of Timo Werner being an almost inevitable signing, and Jadon Sancho a possibility too, mean his days could also be numbered.
That said, the player knows he has a decision to make before (or after) the Euros this summer. He said, following the match on Saturday: "I feel like I’ve got that decision to make in the summer.
"I feel like my last two years of loans have been good and this one has been positive for me as well.
"I’m finally in the Premier League which is what I’ve worked towards.
"In the summer I will be concentrating on Wales but once that is done, I may have a decision to make."
Whether or not Liverpool decide to keep or sell Wilson, it'll be a boost, in terms of finances. With the 22 year old either adding £20-30 million to the club's summer funds or saving us an equal amount on potential replacement signings.
